It rained before our hike and we only had five hikers and a dog. We changed the hike and walked from Gualala Point Park under the highway and into the forest and down to the Gualala River. The rain had stopped and the air was clear and it was very beautiful. We found a rock that looked like a boot and mushrooms we thought could be edible, but too lovely to disturb.
