WALK-ON BEACH/ MONARCH GLEN LOOP

Meet at 10:30 at pullout for Gualala business directory north of bridge and at 10:45 at the Shell Beach Public Access parking area. Take the access trail to the bluff and turn north. Walk along the Bluff Trail taking the first possible stairs to Walk-On Beach. Cross the beach to the stairs at the end and after ascending turn right to walk the Bluff Trail back to One-Eyed Jack's for lunch. After lunch walk through the hedge row to the Monarch Glen Interpretive Trail. Do that loop exiting where we entered and walking a short way to the Leeward Meadow trail, turning left to 35C, right to 35D and right to take the trail next to the highway to the end. Then it is a right on Whalebone Reach, left on Pacific Reach to catch the last part of the access trail back to the cars.
