January or June????!
It was an incredibly warm and sunny day again on the coast with no wind. We walked in Gualala Point Park and the north end of The Sea Ranch. Ginger and Teresa brought cookies and brownies. Spoiled again!

Plantation and the Redwood Tree House
We had 15 people on today's hike from Kruse Rhododendron Reserve to Plantation and back. The guest of honor was Elaine Mahaffey author of the book Wildflowers of The Sea Ranch.
At Plantation, Dave and Diana arranged for us to get a bit of tour of the farm camp where their son use to live and work. The highlight for me was of course the redwood tree house complete with bed, wood burning stove, dutch door and window! If I ever go missing, I highly suggest checking this tree.

Soup and Soupy Weather
A hearty few of us (8) braved the rains and hiked The Sea Ranch bluffs taking many diversions to help get us closer to completing our goal of walking ALL the trails on The Sea Ranch. After the hike we enjoyed a potluck of soup, salad and dessert back at Annie and Mike's home. The sheep and goats are stationed in their yard, sadly, I forgot to take a picture. sigh.

Gualala Arts to Green Iron Bridge
It was a sunny and cool day. The sunshine felt terrific. We walked the road from the Art Center to the Green Iron bridge with a brief detour through the closed campground. After lunch a few of us also walked the Art Center forest loop trail.
