Meet at 10:00 at pullout for Gualala business directory to carpool. Take Old Stage Rd. to Fish Rock Rd. turning right to follow the signs to the Mendocino County Dump. Park at the foot of the road where the pavement stops where you will meet the leader.  Starting at 10:15 we will be walking on Mendocino Redwoods property.  Please note that you will be asked to sign their release before proceeding onto this private property.  Sometimes the road has changed between hikes so we never know for sure what we will experience. We will follow and cross several tributaries to the Garcia which provide wonderful sites and sounds as we meander along the overgrown logging roads. This hike has some elevation gain and depending on how fast the group is we will be treated to vista views through the trees.  Walking sticks recommended.

Troll hole
message from the Troll
16 hikers that fit inside the redwood tree

Start at Hidden Parking Lot at Gualala Point Park at 10:00  (on westside entrance just left after pulling past fee post.)  There is a fee per car although many of us have passes. Or park across the street if you do not have a pass. Walk down on the County Park Road to the campground and at the bottom of the hill take unofficial trail heading toward river and explore the beautiful forest. On the return up the road take the hole in the fence to connect with the Sea Ranch trails to post 152 to Haversack, turning right on Deer Trail and continue down Deer Trail until post 146 to Pomo Creek Trail. Do the entire Pomo Creek trail loop and back to Deer Trail Road, this time turning right at post 147 to Pomo Hillside Trail connect to the Badger Trail back to County Park Road and back to the cars. Lunch at the picnic tables next to the Hidden Parking Lot at the end. NOTE: Hike was shortened. Pomo Hillside Trail and Badger Trail were cut to shorten hike due to longer than usual ambling.
