This week I was in Albany, NY ... so instead of hiking I was rocking, carrying, and feeding, and changing my sweet 9 week old namesake ... Harmony Grace and getting quality time with dear friend Mary. What a great visit. I miss them both already!
Mary Sue and I have undertaken the challenge of hiking EVERY trail on The Sea Ranch (over 50 miles worth). This has lead to some meandering hikes in order to get small connector trails. Today, Tina indulged me/us with a few detours for this purpose. Pictured is Dard walking Foxie. The fence is at One Eyed- Jacks and the beach photo is of Stengel Beach. It was a lovely overcast day.
Today I ran out of the house and forgot my camera... doh! It was sprinkling when we started but cleared up for our hike and then sprinkled again as the cars came into sight. The hike as down Curly Lane and back. Very nice. Sorry no photos to share.
It was a BEAUTIFUL sunny Christmas in Gualala this year. Sus and I took our first walk together all the way to Cooks Beach from our house and back again. We had a nice cup of coffee at St. Orres and then Sus took a dip in the Pacific Ocean. Note my new hiking poles that Santa brought. VERY FUN DAY!
