It looked like rain, but was only heavy mist part of the time. Stillwater is a favorite of many of us and the rain had washed the ferns so they were especially beautiful. The river was still low enough we could cross easily. This hike has the beautiful forest, the school house, the walk along the bluff with lovely views, and those fascinating rocks for a lunch spot.
