I missed this weeks hike - waiting for LONG overdue fabrics from India to arrive - which it didn't... sigh. TGID - Thank Goodness for Dard. These are his pictures and this is his report:
"There were 12 of us. Yes, wow! It was a wonderful hike. The Rhodies have just started. There seemed to be acres of Corralorhiza. The streams were still running and accompanying their burbles were the cacophonous call of the resident Ospreys. Don't think they wanted us on their turf. "
We missed Harmony today. She is kind to let Dard send photos when she wasn't able to join us. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place and a leisurely pace so no one seemed to mind the stretches that weren't flat. The bathrooms at the Kruse parking lot area are still nailed shut and we can hope that it won't always be that way.
