Meet at 9:20 at the pullout for the Gualala business directory and at
9:30 at Anchor Bay (West side of Hwy 1) to carpool to Manchester and
start our hike at 10:00. From Hwy 1, take Stoneboro Road (near the 19.64
mile marker). Follow Stoneboro Road to just before the end and make a
right on Bristol, where there is a paved circular area for parking. We
will walk about five miles on paved roads passing Beverly Thompson’s
heather gardens and beautiful farmland. At the end of the hike we will
have lunch across the dunes at the beach. Dogs on leash are allowed.
