MONARCH GLEN/WALK-ON BEACH

 

Carpool at the Gualala Super parking lot, close to the back side of the old hotel at 9:55. Start at the Sea Ranch chapel, mm 55.66 at 10 am. Hang tags needed for non Sea Ranchers. Carefully cross the highway to Bosuns Reach. Enter trail on south side, then take a right onto trail going north. Walk the Monarch Glen trail beside the hedgerow then turn right on the Leeward Meadow Trail. Take a left on Seal Rock Reach and hike to Walk-On Beach. Walk across the beach and up the path on the end to connect with the Bluff Trail and head South until you reach Cormorant Close. Turn left on Cormorant Reach and enter the trail at 31A. When the trail ends, walk on Pacific Reach, turn right on Whalebone Reach and catch the trail at 34A. At 35E walk up Bosun’s Reach to the highway, cross, and walk back to the Chapel where we will have lunch.
